As part of the Conservative Party’s agreement with the Democratic Unionist Party, Sinn Fein are to take over the Brexit negotiations with the EU on behalf of the UK Government.
“Sinn Fein have a lot of experience at doing deals,” said Theresa May.
“They are ideal for sorting out the EU.”
“Sinn Fein are hard negotiators,” agreed Arlene Foster, the DUP leader.
“They usually get their own way.”
100 European politicians were asked who they would least like to negotiate with – Gerry Adams or David Davis.
63% said Gerry Adams and 37% asked who David Davis is.
“We will get what we want,” said the Sinn Fein leader, “or I will make Jean-Claude Juncker an offer he can’t refuse.”
