Vladimir Putin has won another election in a landslide victory after 70% of the electorate, or seven people, voted in favour of him retaining the Russian Presidency for another six years.

Putin was said to be characteristically confident as the 10 members of Russia’s voting public visited the polling booth.

“Voter turnout was a little lower than last election, because Alexei had a cold and couldn’t make it,” explained a spokesperson for the President.

The exact margin that Putin won by has been reported as 73.9%, due to one of the electorate having 6.1% of his body dragged out of the booth when the guards realised he was voting for the opposition.
