It has been announced that a film is to be made about the life of David Davis and that Mel Gibson will play the role of the Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union.

The film will concentrate on the latter part of his life and will be directed by Ridley Scott.

“It will be set in a lawless post-Brexit Britain,” said the Hollywood director.

David Davis can be seen roaming the streets in his Triumph Herald searching for fuel.

“He used to be part of a gang led by flaxen-haired Boris the Clown. They have no morals and will do anything to retain their grip on power. Davis is kicked out of the group when they realise he is useless and has nothing to offer.

“Traumatised by being rejected from the gang, David Davis roams the wilderness of a post-apocalyptic Britain with his loyal companion Liam the Fox.

“They comes across a group of settlers called the Remainers and Davis tries to join them but they are very wary of him.”

Scott hinted at a violent ending.

“I don’t want to spoil the film for people by telling you what happens” said Scott.

“But it doesn’t end well for anyone, except of course Boris the Clown.”
