Mark Hamill has recently confirmed that although it appeared that his alter ego Luke Skywalker died at the end of The Last Jedi, he actually teleported to join Elvis Presley on a nudist island in the Pacific.

Many Star Wars fans have been outraged by Luke’s death, which seemed to arise out of Skywalker just being a bit tired.

But as it turns out, the Jedi Master, after fooling the First Order and saving his friends, was just going to join his good friend Elvis – one of the few celebrities to have survived 2016 – for a well-earned vacation.

He had to leave his robes behind as the Island does have a very strict ‘everybody naked’ policy.

Fortunately they were happy to admit his metal hand.

“Luke is having a great time while he waits to get back into the fray in Episode 9,” explained Hamill.

“He and Elvis have started a band with Lord Lucan and they take it in turns to ride Shergar along the beach.

“I know he’s secretly hoping that Yoda shows up with nothing but his stick.”
