Jeremy Corbyn is to release an ‘election special’ cover of the Sex Pistols’ God Save The Queen in the run up to the general election on June 8th.

An ardent punk fan and keen violinist, Corbyn has always felt an affinity for the Pistols’ anti-establishment ethos.

“Sid and Johnny’s paean to ‘the fascist regime’ has always had a special place in my heart and I really think that it’s time to give it a modern update,” said Corbyn.

“With strings.”

The Labour leader refused to confirm or deny rumours that Country Life butter will be donating to the production of the single or his party’s election campaign.

However, during a press conference to promote his cover of God Save The Queen, Corbyn repeatedly quoted the slogan that he’ll be emblazoning across the Labour campaign bus.

“There’s no future, no future, no future for youuuu!”
