Disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein is to appear on Broadway in a stage version of Animal Farm.
Weinstein will play the dominant pig Napoleon, who is described by the author George Orwell as a large, fierce-looking boar.
“We feel Harvey will bring so much to the role,” said the play’s director Roman Polanski, who will be tele-directing from his holiday home in France.
“He doesn’t even have to act, he can just be himself.
“Most animals would be arrested after being accused so many times of rape and sexual harassment. Harvey Weinstein gets to go to a luxury sex clinic in Phoenix, Arizona.
“It shows that all animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others. Harvey is perfect for the part in Animal Farm.”
