Joining the long list of singers who have declined invitations to perform at Donald Trump’s Presidential Inauguration, Gary Glitter has also said that he just can’t do it.
Paul Francis Gadd, known by the stage name Gary Glitter, is currently serving a 16-year sentence for a string of historic sex attacks on three schoolgirls but Trump had apparently arranged for a two-day release.
“Sure, I could do with the cash, but I’m more concerned about what it will do to my reputation,” announced the former glam rock star.
“Don said that I could do all of my hits – Do You Wanna Touch Me, School Day and The Famous Instigator.
“But I just thought, if Charlotte Church isn’t going to be there, what’s the point?”
