As the aftermath of the Oscars dies down, one clear snub has emerged with Fifty Shades Freed being ignored in all categories.

The Fifty Shades trilogy has been hailed as a literary and cinematic masterpiece with a Rotten Tomatoes audience score within 5% of The Last Jedi.

And yet the erotic films have somehow received no Oscars and just as few nominations.

“We thought that like Lord of the Rings they would finally give us Best Picture for the third film, in recognition of our groundbreaking trilogy,” explained director James Foley.

“But although Hollywood is now open-minded about race, religion and disability, they are clearly not forward-thinking enough for some good contractual sex.”
