The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is to be replaced with the Prince Harry Award after Prince Philip retires in the autumn, it has been announced.
“It will have a similar format, with Gold, Silver and Bronze levels, but with a slightly different emphasis,” said a Buckingham Palace spokesman.
“For instance, the Silver level will see entrants complete a 20-mile hike then jump naked into a Jacuzzi with a lap dancer.
“The Gold level is mainly about teamwork and endurance,” continued the spokesman.
“Groups of four will undertake a bar crawl of their local town. They will have to visit ten bars in eight hours and drink a pint of Champagne in each.”
All female applicants will be interviewed by Prince Harry himself and successful participants will spend a ‘bonding weekend’ at Balmoral with him and Prince Andrew when the Queen is away.
