Donald Trump has announced that he has set up a new rival organisation to the Group of Seven (G7), forming the Group of 1 (G1).
G7 consists of the USA, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Canada and the United Kingdom with a representative from the EU.
The G1 will consist of the USA, with a representative from Vladimir Putin.
Trump has assured skeptics that the G1 will have a broad representation at its first summit and will include individuals with as diverse views as Jared Kushner, Clint Eastwood and Roseanne Barr.
“This new G1 forum will make the key decisions regarding the world,” explained Trump, “and we will do so on American soil, in American chairs, while listening to American music and drinking non-alcoholic Budweiser.
“And for those who are stupidly worried about the USA having unchecked powers, I can assure them that Vladimir Putin has a full veto over anything G1 decides.”
