In response to allegations of corruption regarding the alleged Russian involvement in the 2016 election, Donald Trump has taken the unprecedented measure of firing Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Trump’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort has been ordered to surrender amid new allegations regarding the election.

But while that investigation plays out, Vladimir Putin has been the latest casualty of Trump’s crusade to clean out any corruption in the White House.

“I absolutely have not had any dealings with Russia over this election,” promised Trump.

“Any Russian interference was not due to me and probably cost me the popular vote.

“With all these allegations flying around, I felt I had no option but to remove Mr Putin from my payroll and relieve him of his duties as President of Russia.”

It is understood that Jared Kushner will serve as interim President of Russia.

In response to the firing, Putin was philosophical.

“I am not sure Mr Trump understands how our relationship works,” explained Putin.

“He will.”
