Donald Trump’s decision to build a wall on the Mexico border has inspired Nicola Sturgeon to begin rebuilding Hadrian’s Wall, it has been announced.
“We really don’t want these English pouring over the border into Scotland anymore,” reasoned the First Minister for Scotland.
“Given that the border is much smaller than the US/Mexico one and some of the old wall still remains, it will be relatively cheap to build.
“But the English will still pay for it.”
The Welsh Assembly is also considering re-digging Offa’s Dyke in order to keep the English out.
However, a spokesperson said that this is not something they wish to discuss with the US President for “fear of misunderstanding on his part”.
