President Donald Trump is blaming former President Obama and his “bad vibes” for the destruction Hurricane Irma caused in Florida.
“He’s just like so negative and his bad vibes are almost certainly the reason for this hurricane and many others to come,” said Trump from his Mar-a-Lago resort.
“He’s always moping around, all sad and bringing everyone down. All that negativity affects the weather, it’s a proven scientific fact.”
“Negativity definitely has nothing to do with creating a hurricane,” countered Meteorologist and Associate Professor at Columbia University, Graham Nelson.
“I’m not really sure what the President is talking about.”
“I’m not saying his negativity is directly flowing into the water and causing the storm,” responded Trump.
“I’m saying his bad vibes are just, you know, flowing everywhere, which is producing bad energy in the air. Which, in turn, is creating the hurricane. So yes, Obama is creating Hurricane Irma. I’m certain of it.”
White House Communications Director Hope Hicks explained the President’s position.
“Obama also believes he is responsible for the hurricane,” said the 28-year-old former model and co-captain of Greenwich High School lacrosse team.
“His negativity has been really high lately, so he should take full responsibility for creating and causing the storm. To President Trump and the American people, former President Obama should apologize for creating this storm. Thank you.”
