Tony Blair is reported to be deeply unhappy that he didn’t even make the short list for this year’s Nobel Peace Prize.
News that the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons has been awarded the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize was brought to the ex-Prime Minister at his breakfast table.
“All the work I’ve done as the Middle East peace envoy and this is the reward that I get,” complained Blair.
“How many nuclear weapons have been abolished this year?” he continued.
“None, that’s how many. Meanwhile, Bono and I have been working tirelessly for Peace on Earth.
“It just isn’t fair.”
