After the surprise result of the US Presidential election, thousands of American citizens searched Google for ‘what is Donald Trump?’.
An inside source at the multinational tech company revealed a spike in traffic towards Trump’s Wikipedia page in the late hours of Tuesday evening.
Analytics show that many of the users live in states where Trump had won, indicating that several of them had voted for Trump without knowing who or what he is.
“I’d seen him on TV and heard that he likes pussies. I honestly thought that he was a cat embalmer,” said Wendy Carlton, a hairdresser from Florida.
The second most popular search item was ‘How can I move to Canada?’.
