Troubled quarterback Johnny Manziel informed reporters that the Oakland Raiders and Mark Davis wanted to move to Vegas to attract him to the team.
Manziel conceded that the Raiders hadn’t contacted him as of yet, but stressed that he was the “only reason” for the team to move to Sin City.
“A Vegas team would be perfect for me,” said an excitable Manziel. “No more getting in trouble for being in Vegas during voluntary off-season activities!
“And if anyone catches me with a rolled up fifty-dollar bill, I can claim that I’m just protecting part of the playbook!”
Derek Carr, when asked for comment, shook his head and mentioned something about getting ready for the playoffs.
But perhaps he should be concerned. New York Mets minor league prospect Tim Tebow also expressed an interest in the non-vacant QB1 role.
“I could clean up the Raiders and Vegas,” promised the former first-rounder, before performing some intense Tebowing on the floor.
