Legendary rock guitarists such as Joe Perry and Gene Simmons have begun using a new type of FX pedal called ‘The Trump Effect’ in their live shows.
The pedal creates a continuous stream of overdrive, usually delivered at great volume.
The bassist and singer of glam-rock group Kiss, Gene Simmons, is a huge fan.
“The Trump Effect creates massive distortion. You can barely hear what anyone is saying. It rocks!”
Aerosmith’s acclaimed axeman Joe Perry stated, “We still use the Wah Wah when we’re playing typically liberal states like Massachusetts and Vermont, as the crowds seem to respond best to that sound.
“But for places like Alabama, it’s all about big, brutal noise.”
