Queen Elizabeth II is rumoured to be applying for UK citizenship in order to secure her place in the country after Brexit.
Fearing for her legal right to remain in the country after Britain leaves the EU, The Queen has begun filling out the 85-page application form for permanent residency in the UK.
Her Majesty received a letter from the Home Office that included the phrase ‘Make arrangements to leave the country’ and was concerned that she would have to relocate to Germany and change her surname to her original family name, Saxe-Coburg-Gotha.
“It’s much harder for one to spell.”
Home Secretary Amber Rudd commented on the issue.
“I bet she doesn’t even have a passport.”
