As the dispute between right-wing news site Breitbart and Kellogg’s shows no sign of abating this week, the cereal giant has confirmed that sales of Rice Krispies have taken the brunt of the impact.

After Kellogg’s ceased advertising on the alt-right website over ideological differences, Breitbart’s editor Steve Bannon hit back by calling for his site’s followers to boycott Kellogg’s products.

This led to the neo-Nazi contingent of their fans immediately switching breakfast cereals in a show of defiance.

Rice Krispies have long been a favorite of far-right organizations, due to the Anglo-Saxon imagery used on its packaging.

Hitler himself famously referred to Snap, Crackle and Pop as the, “Three amigos of the Third Reich.”

Bannon has suggested a compromise that would bring his readers back into the fold, advising the Kellogg’s branding management to release a limited edition run of ‘Special KKK’ as a show of good faith.
