Myles Garrett is reportedly doing everything he can to trade down from being the No. 1 prospect so he avoids being picked by the Cleveland Browns.
The Texas A&M standout has been in intense negotiations with Solomon Thomas and Mitch Trubisky and sources say that he has offered half of his signing bonus as an incentive for Thomas or Trubisky to put themselves in the Cleveland firing line.
Garrett has also desperately been trying to convince draft ‘experts’ to downgrade him.
“I’m really not that great,” explained the consensus best player in the 2017 NFL Draft.
“I mean I only got eight and a half sacks in my junior year and, okay, I was pretty much playing on one leg all season, but that’s not the point.
“Oh God, please don’t make me go to Cleveland!”
