Mexico has increased its number of Border Patrol agents following the election of Donald Trump as the next President of the United States.
“We have already intercepted hundreds of Americans trying to get into the country to escape from the US,” said Captain José Martinez who heads a border patrol team. “Some of them are desperate and will do anything.”
Enrique Peña Nieto, the President of Mexico, announced that, “It is a serious problem. The Americans coming over will take the jobs of Mexicans and we can’t afford to let that happen. We are considering all options, including building a wall, and I can assure you that if we do build a wall, the United States will pay for it.”
