A Houston man who claimed to know Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was technically vindicated by producing a photo of him standing behind the actor at a Mexican restaurant.
“I never said how well I knew him, just that I knew him,” said Larry Mander.
“Knowing someone has different meanings to different people. For me it means standing behind someone while they wait in line at Chipotle.”
Mander also claimed that he and The Rock went to the same high school and used to “chill”, but later admitted that they weren’t the same high schools, but high schools that looked “pretty damn similar”.
Mander has also claimed that he brushed against the left pectoral muscle of The Rock on the set for his upcoming movie Baywatch, but this report has so far lacked any real proof.
“We’re not sure why he lied to us,” added Mander’s friend Terry Williams.
“We didn’t even really care one way or the other.
“Frankly, I think Dwayne Johnson sucks at acting. But Larry just kept telling us he knew him.”
