Moments after arriving in America for her first meeting with Donald Trump, Theresa May has claimed that she is a better Prime Minister than Winston Churchill.
“Churchill was in charge when the Great Smog of London killed 12,000 people in 1952,” said May.
“Far fewer people have died from the freezing fog that is currently afflicting our capital.
“This is a clear reflection of how much money we are putting into the NHS and shows that I am doing a better job than Winston as leader.”
One of Trump’s first acts as President was to move the bust of Winston Churchill back into the Oval Office.
“I hope that Donald Trump will soon have one of my busts in his office,” said May.
