Yahoo have announced another cyber attack on its servers, which will affect one billion of its users who are yet to upgrade to Gmail.
The tech corporation that rose to prominence in the ’90s was once again attacked by hackers last week, presumably with the aim of stealing valuable information about Brexit voters, Trump supporters and people who email their grandchildren every Easter.
A spokesperson warned that “dates of birth and phone numbers” may have been stolen, which customers were also using as their passwords.
Yahoo user Gertrude McDade was calm in response to the news.
“If I need a new emailing postbox, I’ll just Ask Jeeves where to purchase one.”
