Jeremy Corbyn has accepted a knighthood in the 2017 New Year’s Honours List for his services to politics, it has been announced.
The Labour Party leader was nominated by ex-Prime Minister David Cameron before he left office.
The Conservative Party wanted Corbyn to get some recognition for all that he has done to keep them in power.
A source close to Corbyn says that he was hesitant to reverse his position on the Honours System but was persuaded by the Queen allowing him to not kneel before her.
In order for the Queen to reach Corbyn’s shoulders with the ceremonial sword, she will stand on top of a crouching Prince Charles.
